Per page, product, category and post#
Products, categories, brands, pages and blog posts have their own SEO fields (meta title, description, keywords, slug) in their editors. The product editor shows a live preview of the search result. With the AI Studio enabled, the SEO writer drafts them - see AI Studio tools.
Sitemap#
/sitemap.xml is regenerated daily by the scheduler (needs the cron job). After big catalogue changes use Generate sitemap now on this page. Large catalogues are split into several sitemap files automatically. Submit https://your-domain.com/sitemap.xml in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
robots.txt#
Sellora serves /robots.txt itself. It blocks the admin, account, cart, checkout, wishlist, compare, search and install pages and sorting/filter URLs, adds your extra rules and points to the sitemap. When maintenance mode is on, it tells crawlers to stay away.
Friendly URLs#
Slugs are editable per item and checked for duplicates. Products live under /product/slug, categories under /category/slug, brands under /brand/slug, pages under /page/slug and posts under /blog/slug.
Tips#
- Give every product a unique, descriptive title and description.
- Use the same domain (with or without
www) everywhere and redirect the other. - Add alt text to images; the AI Studio's alt-text writer can draft it.
- Keep a visible, accurate Privacy Policy page.
