Version history of Sellora.

Version 1.1.0 - 2026-10-07#

Upgrade note: after updating from 1.0.0 run php artisan cache:clear (or Admin > System > Clear cache) once, so cached home sections do not keep an old security token; then php artisan optimize.

Added#

  • Treva showcase. Treva (Tech Store) is now the face of all 19 designs: the live-preview landing page, the documentation images and the item images were rebuilt around Treva and the classic designs, with a one-line description for each design.
  • Migrate from WooCommerce. A free WordPress plugin, Sellora Migrator (Tools/sellora-migrator.zip in the package, also downloadable from the wizard), and a five-step wizard in System > Migrate from WooCommerce: install the plugin, connect and preview the counts, choose options, follow the progress, read the report. It moves categories, tags, brands, attributes, simple and variable products with their images, customers, orders with refunds and notes, reviews, coupons and the sales history. The run can be paused and resumed, re-running only updates records, and Sync again picks up new and changed data. Tested against WooCommerce 11.1.2 with sample data. See Migrate from WooCommerce.
  • Reports > WooCommerce history: the imported daily sales history with a date range and CSV export.
  • Legacy WordPress password login: migrated customers sign in with their WordPress password (WordPress 6.8+ hashes and older phpass hashes); the password is re-hashed on the first login.
  • Settings > Performance: a full-page cache for visitors who are not signed in and have an empty cart (answered before the framework boots when the file cache is used), fragment caches for product and blog page parts, cache status, warm-up, clear and Optimize buttons, and recommendations. 26 new database indexes. Order and newsletter e-mails are queued when a queue driver is configured. See Performance and caching.
  • Asset pipeline (npm run build): per-design CSS bundles, minified scripts, versioned URLs and precompressed .br/.gz files, WebP copies of the theme images and of uploads (optional AVIF), carousel and video scripts loaded only where they are used, and font-display: swap on the local fonts.
  • Commands php artisan sellora:cache-warm (fills the page cache) and php artisan sellora:images-optimize (creates WebP/AVIF copies for media that does not have them yet).

Changed#

  • The default design is Treva (tech3): the setup wizard pre-selects it and the demo default points to it.
  • The landing page, the installer design step and Appearance > Demos list the classic designs first, then studio, then marketplace-style.
  • Classic demos carry their own store identity (store name, contact, about, FAQ, brand strip and slide texts) instead of the data set they reuse.

Fixed#

  • The REST API returned 500 when routes were cached (php artisan route:cache or Optimize); the API rate limiters are now registered by a provider.
  • Routes with a plain throttle shared one counter per visitor, so live search could use up the checkout limit and return 429; every route now has its own counter.
  • Right-to-left header gap on the Treva, Treva Digital and Gaming Club headers.
  • Raw translation keys on support ticket departments and page templates.
  • sellora:install-demo --fresh now removes the blog posts, banners, menus and store settings left over from previously installed designs.

Measured locally on PHP 8.4 + MariaDB, cached storefront pages answered in 2-3 ms instead of 156-245 ms (time to first byte). Your results depend on hosting.

Version 1.0.0 - initial release#

First public release.

Included#

  • Storefront with 19 design presets (10 classic led by the default Tech Store "Treva", 6 marketplace-style, 3 studio) with five product page layouts and five blog list and post styles, shop, product, cart, checkout, order tracking, blog, contact and FAQ pages, wishlist, compare, quick view, search suggestions and a cookie bar.
  • Customer account area: orders with invoices, downloads, wishlist, reviews, addresses, profile, notifications, support tickets and reward points.
  • Admin panel: dashboard, products with variations and options, categories, brands, attributes, tags, reviews and questions, inventory and stock alerts, orders with refunds, invoices and manual orders, customers and groups, subscribers and campaigns, support tickets, coupons and flash sales, pages, blog, menus, sliders and banners, appearance tools, eight reports, roles and permissions, system tools and translation editor.
  • Thirteen payment methods, shipping zones with five method types, tax classes and presets, multi-currency with automatic exchange rates, multi-language including right-to-left.
  • AI Studio with ten tools, storefront shopping assistant and demo mode.
  • REST API (/api/v1) with OpenAPI documentation.
  • Admin polish: media-library folders, an AI daily-briefing card on the dashboard, Catalog > Inventory and AI Studio > Insights menu items, admin-styled 403 and 404 pages.
  • Setup wizard, cPanel-friendly package and this documentation.

Known limitations#

  • Online payment gateways, social login and AI providers were verified against provider documentation and simulated responses; test them in sandbox before use.
  • Customer groups do not apply automatic discounts. Bundle savings are real but work through a percent coupon: a cart holds one coupon, and it discounts the whole cart. There is no fixed bundle price.
  • No built-in two-factor authentication or database backup tool.
  • The progressive-web-app service worker is registered when the PWA is enabled; this was not inspected in browser developer tools.
  • The four classic product-page layouts are lighter than the standard page (first page of reviews only, no Q&A or bought-together) and were not tested on the dark designs, in right-to-left or at tablet widths.
  • Each classic design reuses the demo catalogue of an earlier design (the Sport Store adds a small sport catalogue on top of fashion).
  • Template fonts used by a few classic designs and blog styles (Organetto, es-build trial, Hero Light) are demo-licensed; see Credits.
